| Cari concittadini di St. Charlie,
Grazie. E' così che voglio iniziare il mio primo discorso del 2014, con un grazie. Un grazie che non và a me, non al mio Partito, non al mio governo che evidentemente nel 2013 ha fatto bene, ma a voi, cittadini, che avete reso possibile una nostra rielezione e conferma quest'anno. Il risultato è stato sorprendentemente buono, migliore di quanto ci aspettassimo. Alle parlamentarie abbiamo avuto risultati addirittura superiori all'anno scorso in varie federazioni, quali Caroline Charlotte, Nuova Branson, Koss ed Atlantis. Un mio auspicio invece, è quello di poter riacquistare un elettorato socialista attivo nella federazione della capitale. Potevamo sperare in un risultato altrettanto buono alle elezioni federali ed invece quest'anno molti governatori sono cambiati e solo una minoranza sono del mio Partito, ma avendo piena fiducia nella cittadinanza st. charliana, sono certo faranno al meglio il loro dovere.
Quello scorso è stato un anno che ha visto molti cambiamenti, un rinnovo all'interno della Repubblica Federale, e come era il nostro motto durante la campagna elettorale "ora, il prossimo passo". Perchè ora c'è da costruire sulle solide fondamenta che abbiamo costruito, più forti di prima e con la consapevolezza di avere alle spalle una cittadinanza che ci supporta e perchè no, ci sopporta.
A breve proporremo il nuovo governo al Presidente della Repubblica, governo che in parte sarà confermato, ma avrà delle novità interessanti. Il Partito ha anche deciso già un nome da presentare all'Assemblea Generale per la carica di Presidente della stessa che speriamo sarà apprezzato.
Uno sguardo lo butto anche dall'altra parte, dai nazionali, che hanno dimostrato di essere sulla buona strada per risollevarsi dallo scorso anno. Più in particolare vorrei fare un commento su quanto detto da Leader del Partito Nazionale. Spero che le sue parole di ieri saranno confermate dai fatti. E' da troppo tempo che non abbiamo un'opposizione vera e propria, che possa essere combattiva e con la quale lavorare e trovare compromessi. Marka, dico a te, teneteci d'occhio e criticateci, fatelo spesso e fatelo concretamente con controproposte. Vogliamo essere il governo di tutti.

Dear fellow citizens of St. Charlie
Thank you. This is how I want to start my first speech of 2014, with a thank you. A big thank you goes not to me, not my Party, not my government that obviously did well in 2013, but to you, the citizens, who have made possible our re-election and confirmation this year. The result was surprisingly good, better than we expected. At parlamentary elections we had even higher results than last year in various federations, such as Caroline Charlotte, New Branson, Koss and Atlantis. My hope, however, is that we can regain an active socialist electorate in the federation of the capital. We could hope for a better result in the federal elections this year but instead many governors have changed and only a minority are of my Party, but having full confidence in the st. charlian citizens, I am sure they will do the best in their duty.
That last one was an year that has seen many changes, a renewal within the Federal Republic, and as it was our motto during the electoral campaign "Now, the next step." Because now we have to build on the solid foundation we have built, stronger than before and with the knowledge that we have behind citizens that supports us.
Soon, the new government will be proposed to the President of the Republic, a part of the Government will be confirmed, but will have also some interesting innovations. The Party has also already decided a name to be presented to the General Assembly for the office of President of the same, which we hope will be appreciated.
A look I throw it on the other side, to the nationals, which have proven to be on track to recover from last year. More specifically I want to comment on what was said by the Leader of the National Party. I hope that his words of yesterday will be confirmed by the facts. It 'been too long since we have not a real opposition, which can be combative and with whom we can work and find compromises. Marka, I say it to you, just keep an eye on us and criticize us, do it often and do it with a concrete counterproposal. We want to be the government of all.
